Praying God's Word Over Your Kids: Part 1Sample

Praying God's Word Over Your Kids: Part 1

DAY 7 OF 7

One of my favorite all-time videos of my youngest son, Seth, is of him singing "I Will Rise" by Chris Tomlin. He doesn't get all of the lyrics and makes his own arrangement of the song, but does it ever attack my heart...in a good way. There is truly nothing I love more than to see and hear my sons singing songs in worship to their Creator.

Jesus rebuked the Pharisees in Luke 19 when they basically told Him to shut His disciples up for worshipping Him because of the miracles He performed. And His bold and direct response was this, "If they don't cry out, the stones will!"

Friend, I don't know about you, but there is no way that I'm going to let a rock take my place. I will worship my God! It is our calling to worship Him. Our children emulate us and don't you want them seeing us worship so that they will worship?

Let's finished this week's plan by praying that our children will live a life of worship of the One True God!

●In God ____________ makes his boast all day long, and ____________ will praise Your name forever. (Psalm 44:8)

●The Lord is ____________’s strength and his defense; He has become ____________’s salvation. He is ____________’s God, and he will praise Him, my father’s God, and he will exalt Him. (Exodus 15:2)

●____________ will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord, the deeds for which He is to be praised, according to all the Lord has done for ____________—yes, the many good things He has done for Israel, according to His compassion and many kindnesses. (Isaiah 63:7)

●____________’s mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long. (Psalm 71:8)

●____________ will give thanks to the Lord, for He is good: His love endures forever. (1 Chronicles 16:34)
