Connecting with God's Heart
Ask God to enable you to see your three friends/colleagues as he sees them, and to share his compassion for them (Mark 6:34)
Many of us have known disappointment when praying for unbelieving friends or family. Perhaps we have never been taught how to pray in this vital area. We will use seven steps to assist our praying. These are: (1) Connecting with God’s heart for the lost; (2) Building faith; (3) Fighting for life; (4) Praying life for the spiritually dead; (5) Praying sight for the spiritually blind; (6) Praying freedom for the captives; and (7) Praying for opportunities. They are not a mechanistic formula but a helpful way to structure our thinking and praying, and we will repeat them during our prayer journey.

It can be hard to know where to begin when praying for people to know God for themselves, so this 40-day journey guides us in how to pray for our friends and colleagues to become spiritually alive.
