“Search Your Heart”
The Holy Spirit wants us to be free more than we want to be free. As we seek healing and deliverance from the kingdom of darkness influencing our lives, God is tenacious in His pursuit of our hearts, exposing roots so we can properly deal with them. Captives need to counter the lies they believe with truth, while prisoners have to work through forgiveness to find freedom from the bondage of lifestyle sins like anger and bitterness. The Father’s heart is to release captives and prisoners alike from torment and shepherd them into abundant joy!
David asked God to search His heart. Ask the Holy Spirit to search your soul and partner with Him to pursue full healing and closure in that area. Forgiveness isn’t easy, but it is necessary--unforgiveness ties us to our past and holds us back from our destiny. In Jesus, you have courage to forgive and move toward God’s glorious call on your life.
