### How do we partner with the Holy Spirit? What do you love to do? What energizes you and brings you joy? God created every single one of us with unique gifts and talents. And when we follow Jesus, the Holy Spirit empowers us to use those gifts for His glory and the good of others. If we choose to use our gifts to serve God, the Holy Spirit can help us apply them to their full potential. Identifying the gifts God has given you can be challenging, so here are a few questions you can ask to help discover them: 1. What are you passionate about? Think about what brings you energy. Maybe you enjoy helping others. Maybe you enjoy hosting friends or family in your home. Maybe you’re energized by encouraging your friends or learning something new. Take a moment to write down whatever comes to mind. 1. What are your skills or talents? Think about things that come easy to you. Maybe a teacher or mentor has told you that you are a talented communicator. Perhaps you’re skilled at teaching others processes or concepts. Maybe leading large groups comes naturally to you. Write these ideas down. 1. What does God say about these things? Make time today to explore what the Bible says about your gifts. (Today’s Scripture passages are a great place to start.) Try to find where your passions, your skills, and your God-given gifts overlap. Then, ask God to show you how to use them to glorify Him. As you grow closer to God, His Holy Spirit will transform you into the person He has called you to be. So seek the Holy Spirit’s wisdom, challenges, and presence and you’ll be amazed at just how much He can do in and through you. Pray: God, I want to use my gifts and talents for You. Continue to reveal to me, through Your Spirit, what Your gifts to me are— and help me to use them to glorify You. Thank You for being near me at all times. Thank You for giving me Your Holy Spirit.
