The teachings of Jesus are the basis for a successful and meaningful life through wise decision-making and behavior. How should I respond? The topics in the Sermon on the Mount are timeless (Matt. 5-7); however, they directly contradict most of the current entertainment and social media messages. Where does your thinking conflict with Jesus’ teaching? Who is the final authority in your decisions – self, common sense, or Scripture? Ask God to help you grasp what Jesus taught and begin the process of adjusting your thoughts, decisions, and behavior to please Him.
