The Good Life

20. NAP A(Z) 20-BÓL/-BŐL

In the vision God gave John, God shared a glimpse of the throne room of heaven. There are four living creatures around the throne: One is like a lion, one is like an ox, one has the face of a man, and one is like an eagle. All day and night, they proclaim: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come” (Revelation 4:8). Along with the four creatures are 24 elders who fall down before God and worship Him when the four creatures do. Scripture says: “They lay their crowns before the throne and say: ‘You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being” (Revelation 4:10-11). The creatures and the elders fall down in celebratory praise because they just can’t help themselves. God is just so good. He is worthy of constant praise because every single ounce of life and goodness and being comes from Him. Be intentional and consistent in reminding yourself of God’s goodness. Let your heart lift in praise and celebration because He has been good and faithful every second of your life. You’ll join the constant chorus that echoes around God’s throne when you do. He is so good, indeed.
