A Bridge For The Broken

When the Brooklyn Bridge was first built, people were afraid to walk over it because they didn’t trust it’s reliability. It was manmade, historic in nature, and yet people were skeptical of it’s potential. P.T. Barnum defyingly walked 27 elephants over the bridge to prove its quality and strength. Sometimes we can be nervous about walking over bridges, especially when things come along and shake our resolve. Fear can be gripping and we will always have questions. We are all learning how to walk in faith through Jesus from one place to the next on this journey. We must remember that God accepts us JUST AS WE ARE and he holds us as we walk. He is trustworthy and secure. Questions: 1\. Can you identify what may be holding you back or making you nervous about this bridge that Jesus has created between you and God? 2 . What are some Bible verses that you can pray over your life and that can re-affirm your walk with Jesus?
