Today’s Scripture Reading Isaiah 12:1-6 Today’s Key Verse:  Isaiah 12:5 Sing to the LORD because of the great things he has done. Let the whole world hear the news. Reflect Today’s reading is considered to be an appended section to Isaiah 11:1-16 (yesterday’s reading) since it envisions a time of praise following the restoration of Israel and Judah and the reign of a righteous king. For what is God being praised? Verse 5 encourages singing to God because of the great things he has done. What great things has God done in your life? What will you “sing” about God today? Pray Holy God, I sing your praises, proclaiming the great things you have done.  May the good news of your salvation be spread throughout the world. Amen.
