A few years ago we had a Christmas production at our church where we shared the entire story of who Jesus was and what he did while he was on the Earth. The guy who played Jesus did an absolutely incredible job. He came up to me recently after one of our weekend services to thank me for giving him the opportunity to play the role. (It was a no brainer for me since he was nicely tanned with a beard and long hair). He told me that when I had asked him to play the role, he was in a low season. His faith was weak and his relationship with the Lord was not where it should have been. Being a professional actor, he studied the character of Jesus thoroughly. You are the Shepherd who will never leave His sheep You are the Lion who devours enemies You are a Warrior who fights for broken souls You are the Father who brings His children home He spent hours and hours studying the life of Jesus. He said it completely changed his life. Powerful! Shouldn't that be our desire too? Shouldn't we all be studying the character of Jesus as we try to live it out in our lives daily? We live we live to give You all the glory We live we live to shout Your praise all over the earth As believers, we are called not to keep the truth about God only in our hearts or within the four walls of our church; instead, we are meant to proclaim it with our lives publicly and boldly. You lived You died You rose on high To save us all when we were lost  Your Kingdom Come Your will be done Across the earth and in our hearts This faith we have, is not meant to be kept to ourselves. We continue to live out our faith, sharing it with those around us. So be bold with your faith today. Share all that God has done in your life and all that God has done for the world!
