A Cry for ChangeSample

EMBRACING THE TRUTH Pilate asked Jesus, "What is truth?" because he lived in a world that said, "Truth is what you choose it to be!" Sadly, he was standing face to face with the one man who is the Truth and yet could not recognize him. Jesus has, over the past two thousand years, stood the test of time and prevailed because the Truth always prevails. We cannot repent or embark on a Journey with God if we turn a blind eye to the Truth. We need to know that God is Truth and Light and that there is no darkness or lie in Him. We worship him in Spirit and Truth because He is the Spirit of Truth. This yardstick can ascertain any Spirit claiming divinity; is this a Spirit of Truth or a lying spirit. God cannot lie; it is impossible! Truth is the very essence of God, and Christ is the reflection of this essence. Therefore, when we cry to the Lord in our distress. Let us ask him to deliver us from lying lips; be they the lies we tell ourselves, the lies we have believed and found deceitful, or the lies we tell others.
