God has built seasons into the rhythms of this world. Similarly, there are different seasons in our spiritual growth. Spring is a time of awakening and new possibilities. Summer is a time of growth and fruitfulness, but also weeds. Autumn is a time of harvest, celebration, and cutting back. And winter is a time of apparent barrenness and potential storms – but it’s also when our roots can strengthen and develop. What indicators in your life suggest the season you’re currently in?
