Think how different our lives would be if we were constantly aware of God’s presence with us – His loving, welcoming presence. If we allowed His life to flow into and through us with each breath, we would become a channel of blessing into our workplaces, families, and communities. Such a life would itself be prayer, for prayer is not simply the words we speak to God, but an opening of ourselves to Him. When Paul writes ‘pray continually’, he is not viewing prayer as just something we ‘do’, but as a way of living our lives.
