Secure in Christ Jesus This is a spiritual warfare warning. Before you step onto the battlefield and engage the enemy, you must first be secure in Christ Jesus. You must believe that God came through the Person of Jesus Christ to the earth as a man. You must believe that He was crucified for your sins and mine—the sins of the whole world. You must confess all your sins whether they seem big or small. You must know and confess that He was raised from the dead by the power of God. And you can bet your bottom dollar that He is coming back to establish His Kingdom on the earth. If you are a born-again believer, the prayers that come out of your mouth carry the authority of heaven. You have the angels and the arsenal of heaven on your side, ready to execute the judgments of God upon the devil and his kingdom. As a true follower of Jesus, the Son of God, you will be protected by the shadow of the almighty God. No evil spirits, no satanic attacks, no demonic arsenals will be able to prosper against you. Please listen to me very carefully. Before you step into the realm of the spirit through spiritual warfare, and against any demonic attack against you, you must establish a foundation in Christ. If you have done this, then when the enemy attacks, the most he can accomplish is to shake you but not move you from the foundation upon which your feet have been planted by the Lord Jesus Christ. Here is the enemy’s game plan: If he can move you from the place where God has planted you, then he will delay your purpose and destiny. The enemy understands that he has no authority over the true believer. The only power he has is the power the believer renders to him. This is called giving the enemy legal rights. Pray with me: Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God and that You died for my sins. I bring myself to the foot of the cross and confess You as my Lord and Savior. Come into my life and change me into the person You want me to be. I thank You with all my heart. Amen.
