## Quality #5 #### God Must Be First! Jesus must be Lord of our lives! The word Lord means master, boss, ruler, and controller in every area of our lives, and this is especially true in our business. He is either Lord of all or he isn’t Lord at all. He can’t be anything less than what He is, and He IS Lord! Seeking Him first means knowing what His Word says about honesty, integrity, hard work, how I treat my employees, customers, and suppliers. He has so much to say about these matters as well as how generous we are with the profits of our business. He wants a seat at the table for all our decisions. Always stop for a moment and ask the Lord what He has to say about any decision being considered. Seek God first and very often for your business successes, challenges, and opportunities. Seek the counsel of other Godly businessmen or women. Does God have a seat at your business table? Do you have a confidant who can pray with you and be there for you to bounce issues off of? Do you seek Him first?
