Refiner’s Fire: A 6-Day Devotional

DAY 3 OF 6

## Come Fill Me Up (All Who are Thirsty) Prepare: Become aware of the nearness of God. How would you like to respond to Him in this moment? Read: ❖ Isaiah 55:1-3 Consider: Have you ever noticed how good food tastes when you are hungry? Or perhaps how the most delicious food seems uninteresting when you are completely full?  The state of your hunger or emptiness influences your desire. It is so wonderful to be filled with God and what He desires for His children. Yet when people are filled with other things that do not satisfy, there leaves little room for what truly does nourish and satisfy. Meditate: Where are you empty and hungry today? Activate: ❖ Where are you filling your hunger with things that don’t satisfy? ❖ What addictions do you find yourself in? ❖ Look for references to water in the Scriptures. ❖ Notice your current level of hunger & thirst for God. ❖ Journal the places where you experience God’s satisfying water. If possible, plan a time to spend some time in that place over the next few weeks. Prayer: Father, you are amazing. Please give me whatever I need to be the hands and feet of Christ today. Forgive me as I forgive others. Teach me to walk in step with your Spirit. Lead me away from all that would turn my eyes from you. I love you. Amen. There is an audio attachment for this devotional.
