# Live the Legacy of Easter Sunday For the past six days, we've traveled throughout the Holy Land, visiting many of the places pilgrims see on a trip to Israel. That trek concludes today, but not before we look back at the final days of Christ's life to remember what he experienced on his way to the cross. ## Why did Jesus redeem you? Easter Sunday changed the world by definitively proving that Jesus is who he claimed to be, that he is the Son of God. While it's right that we celebrate it every year, it can easily become a rote holiday that makes little impact on our daily walk with the Lord. Our hope is that by trying to see these events through the eyes of Christ and by visiting the places where they happened, Easter can take on a renewed sense of significance for you today. And we hope that our journey through the Holy Land has had the same impact for your time in God's word. The gospel was never meant to stay in the Holy Land, and while our journey has hopefully helped it come alive in some new ways, the only way that it will make a lasting difference in our lives and in the lives of others is if we share it with others. As we conclude our time today, ask the Lord to help the end of this journey be the start of new patterns and new perspectives in your walk with him. Ask that it will give you a renewed appreciation for all that he endured on our behalf and a renewed sense of calling to share that good news with the lost who so desperately need to hear it. And ask that, every time your commitment to that cause begins to waver or doubts start to creep back in, he'll bring you back to this place and remind you once again that he is real, that he is who Scripture says he is, and that he loves you more than you can possibly begin to fathom. That is the real legacy of the Holy Land.
