"Triumphant Defeat" Imagine you are facing the fight of your life. Not only are you affected, your family members, loved ones and friends are experiencing discomfort because of a weapon that has been formed against you. Feelings of depression, fear, anxiety and terror are trying their best to enter into your mind and heart but the Holy Spirit constantly communicates God’s words to you: “You are more than a conqueror, through Christ Jesus who loves you” (Romans 8:37) “ No weapon formed against you will PROSPER and you will refute every tongue that accuses you” (Isaiah 54:17) “ Dear child, you are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world” (1 John 4:4) “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your GOD goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6) You gain courage, you hold on to your faith in your GUARD OF ALL, although you don’t understand how this fight will turn out. You just know that you must trust God and stand on His word because he has never failed you nor forsaken you. As you face the day and stand your ground on the battlefield, the Glory of the LORD is revealed in your life. You are a witness that “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” (Numbers 23:19) GOD has been with you and through your obedience, his grace and mercy He has guarded you from all weapons formed against you and fought every enemy in your life. You are experiencing yet again another triumphant defeat and God’s gets all Glory and praise, His word is true and he cares about you! Prayer: God you are truly faithful! Thank you for your unchanging word as I follow the promptings, leadings of the Holy Spirit. I stand on your word, I put my faith and trust in you and thanks be to you God, because you give victory through our LORD Jesus Christ. Forgive me for doubting your power to save no matter the situation. Thank you in my triumphant victory. In Jesus name, Amen.
