Great Adventurers (Week 5)

DAY 2 OF 7

Day Two - A Willing Heart Welcome to our Great Adventurers Devotional - we are so excited to have you following along with us as we journey and look at some of the Great Adventurers in the Bible. God sent a very special visitor to tell Mary the plans God had - today we will look at what the angel told Mary….. READ: 'An Angel Visits Mary' in the Beginners Bible (pages 266 - 270) or Luke 1:26-38 The angel Gabriel told Mary “Don’t be afraid, you are very special to God…” We can always remember that we are all very special to God - whenever God sends us a message it is always going to be encouraging. The angel told Mary that she would become pregnant and give birth to a son AND He would be called the Son of the Most High God!!! Wow!!! None of us know the plans that God has for us, but we can be sure that all of God’s plans are good! “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!” ASK: Remember, you are special to God and His plans for you are always good! Can you think of some of the most exciting things in your life that have been a big surprise? Get creative today and draw/paint a memory of these moments - don’t forget to ask your grownups to share your picture with us on Facebook or Instagram. REMEMBER: ‘Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!”’ (Matthew 19:26) SAY: I’m an adventurer, I am bold, I am strong with the word of the Lord, I will follow wherever you lead. I won’t stop, I’ve been set free. In Jesus name, Amen!
