Great Adventurers (Week 1) Sample

Day Three - Born for this Welcome to our Great Adventurers Devotional - we are so excited to have you following along with us as we journey and look at some of the Great Adventurers in the Bible. This week we are going to be looking at Moses' life and how he was Born For This! READ: ‘A Baby in a Basket’ in the Beginners Bible - Pages 92-97 or in Exodus 2 Moses had a big sister called Miriam, she was watching to make sure Moses would stay safe in his basket. Miriam saw Pharaoh's Daughter pick Moses up and ran over to her and told her that she knew a woman who could take care of the baby - it was Moses Mum Jochebed! So Moses was returned to his family and stayed safely with them until he was a young boy.  Jochebed returned Moses to the Princess and Moses grew up in the Palace and was treated like a Prince! God made a way where there seemed to be no way!!!  Look at our memory verse, it says that….. “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!”’ ASK: Think about some of the most impossible things you can, maybe write, draw or paint them - maybe ask your grown up to help you with this. Now write all over what you have written, drawn or painted, in BIG BOLD LETTERS \- “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!”  I AM BORN FOR THIS! Maybe place this somewhere in your home to remind you of this promise every day! REMEMBER: ‘Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!”’ (Matthew 19;26) SAY: I'm an adventurer, I am bold, I am strong, With the word of the Lord, I will follow, Wherever you lead, I won't stop, I've been set free! Amen!
