# Sharing Your Story Our lives tell a story that others can see. These life stories are full of meaning and purpose. But sometimes we can forget how God can use our stories for good. There are many times in the Bible where Jesus talks about sharing our faith. In Luke 8:39, Jesus tells the man he healed to go and tell others what God has done for him. Our lives can be messy at times, but God knows how to turn our mess into a story that glorifies Him. God has a plan for your life and wants to use your story to spread the good news about what He has done. As Matthew said, there are times where it feels like there may not be a bright side to your story. But if you trust in God, He will guide you to redemption through Him. Our stories are meant to be shared with others. God wants us to explore the depths of what He has done in our lives so we can share His greatness with the world. ### Apply * What has God been doing in your life recently? * Set aside time to think about your story and how God can use it. Then find someone to share your story with! ## Conclusion In the middle of Proverbs 22, there is a powerful verse. It is almost as if Solomon called a time out to remind the reader why he gives these life lessons. It says, “I am teaching you today — yes, you — so you will trust in the Lord” (NLT). That is it. God uses life lessons to build our trust.
