The Greatest Gift of All This is the day to make moments matter, with your loved ones or with strangers you may never meet again. More importantly, this is the day to make your life count with Jesus. If you have never done this before, I want to encourage you to accept the greatest gift of all, God’s one and only Son. The good news of Jesus is not a church-based product. It’s a gift of hope, of eternal life. The God of this universe has bestowed on us a love greater than we can ever imagine. God sent His Son, Jesus, so you could live an abundant life. He loves you so much that if you were the only person on this planet, He would still send Jesus to you. Jesus showed up and said, “I gotcha. I’m coming on a rescue mission for you because I love you. And no matter what you’ve done, it’s not too bad. Wherever you are in this moment, you are not too lost. I love you. I came to save you.” Jesus died on a cross for you. But that’s not all—He didn’t stay dead. He rose from the dead. Jesus defeated death, and He offers you life in Him. This is better than any extravagant gift I could ever give the ones I love. Do you want to know the best part? You don’t have to work for it! You can’t earn this gift. You can never be good enough. You can never be rich enough. You can never work hard enough for it. It’s not about what you can do to deserve this gift. It’s about what Jesus did. Have you accepted the free gift of a hope-filled life? Right now, as you read these words, you may feel a nudging of your heart. You may feel Jesus knocking on the door of your soul. Open the door. God is speaking to you. He is saying, “I love you. I want to be part of your life. I want to make you My child. I want to bring you home.” We often promise ourselves that one day we’re going to do this or do that. But we’re not guaranteed one day. Who knows if it will even come? Besides, life isn’t just about one day. It’s about this day. What does it mean to you that you don’t have to work for God’s love?
