Celebrate Father’s Day: A Time to Honour Fathersনমুনা

Who is the biggest family you know? Can they all fit in a 5-seater car, or do they need a van or bus? The Bible tells us that God is our Father and we are His children. That’s a lot of people in God’s family! If you receive Jesus then you have a right to receive the inheritance as a child of God, your Daddy in heaven. We are all God’s children. Our earthly dads make mistakes, but at their best they give us a picture of what our Father in heaven is like. Protecting, encouraging, discipling, and disciplining with wisdom and lots and lots of patience. Our dads love to give us good gifts, not just cool birthday and Christmas gifts, but they take care of us, provide for us, spend time with us and encourage us. Our dads aren’t always perfect but they do know how to bless and give good gifts to their children, so think about God, our PERFECT Father in heaven. He is ready to give good gifts to us, His children. If Father’s Day is a hard time for you for any reason, take heart because God is our Heavenly Father. The Bible says God is a father to the fatherless. You can honour God and the other great men in your life.
