DAY 4 OF 5

Which Is Better: A Lone Wolf or a Family? Thank goodness you’re back! My jokes about wolves don’t always put me at the head of the pack. Oh! I did it again! Because, wolf packs? Ha! Sorry. I’ll get back on track. Have you ever heard of a lone wolf? You know, the wolf that strays away from the pack? It’s always better for a wolf to remain with its family, its pack. It’s a lot like us. We’re not meant to do life alone. We’re meant to be part of a family—the family of God. His Church. But watch this video. It explains it a lot better than I’m doing! Whoa! When she realized she was alone, she headed straight out to find her family! What about you? Are you part of your church community? Do you have other people who trust and follow Jesus that you can join together with? Are you part of a family, or do you feel more like a lone wolf? If you’re alone in this, talk to someone about it today. You weren’t meant to walk through this life of following Jesus alone! We’re going over our reading from 1 Corinthians 12 again today. This time, make sure you read it slowly. Read through it a few times. Try to imagine what your place in the Body of Christ looks like. How will you make a difference when you show up in the family of God? And how will the family of God be there for you throughout your life? When you’re happy? When you’re questioning? When you’re fearful? When you’re broken-hearted? Stick with the family of God. We’re better together. Tomorrow, we’ll take a look into the future. I’m not kidding! Future vision ahead.
