Pain And The Course Of Response

As a guy who loves fitness, pain is one of the most important sign that I look for in my everyday workout because it indicates two most important things in training; PROBLEM or PROGRESS. I have to identify if the pain in my body is indicating an injury and respond with appropriate rest and medication or if it's indicating progress to ramp up the weights and push training further.

Similarly, in our internal world, we need to embrace pain as a process indicating us to respond and not run away or shut down cause it stops our progress in truly coming into fullness and disconnecting; well that's going to lead to deeper wounds. We need to identify the pain whether it's indicating for us to either take the time off and surround our selves with our close ones to recover or to ramp up and push further into progress.
