30 Day Challenge for Positive Living

DAY 9 OF 30

RISE UP AND RUN WITH ENDURANCE TO FIND COURAGE AND STRENGTH.

I waited patiently for the news as to whether I would be the one picked for the job promotion. I was the likely candidate for several reasons, so I felt confident. I had waited several years to hear the good news that I had been given the job I had worked so hard to receive. I was filled with pride and felt sure I would be rewarded for all my efforts. When the call came, I found out I was not the one chosen for the promotion. With frustration, unbelief, and bitterness, I fell apart inside and decided to sternly voice my complaint. Before I picked up the phone, a small voice told me to stop and wait upon the Lord for another blessing to come my way. I stopped, prayed, and obeyed.

Do you need to wait upon the Lord before you act? If you wait upon Him, He will raise you up with wings like eagles so you can run with endurance. He wants to renew your strength so you can run and not be weary, walk and not faint. Rise up and wait. You will see something new the Lord wants to do in you that is even better!

PRAYER

Dear Lord, I pray that I will take off my old self and let You make me new so I can rise above the challenge. I have been anxious about many things instead of holding onto You. I can live with endurance and strength for any challenge as I wait upon You, my Lord, to renew me. I will rise as You call my name so I can fly freely with You forever! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

PRAISE

Thank God you can live with endurance and strength when you wait for the Lord to renew you!

PROMISE

They who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”Isaiah 40:31
