Grace Filled Nursing

DAY 4 OF 4

Release Peace

“I've got peace like a river, I've got peace like a river, I've got peace like a river in my soul.” I just love that old hymn. How beautiful it must be to have peace like a river. Peace that can withstand the storms of life. Peace that can guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. Well, that my friend, is the peace Christ desires for us to have inwardly and release outwardly. No longer will we be satisfied with the mundane. Anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, are not our portion. As a Grace-Filled Nurse, you are called to declare and release peace into the atmosphere.  In Mark 4:39, the bible tells us that Jesus arose, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, peace be still. The wind ceased and there was a great calm. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, lives inside of you.

So how do we operate as peacemakers? How do we release peace in the midst of chaos? Simply keep your mind stayed on Him, and He will keep you in perfect peace. Meditate on the goodness and sovereignty of God as you care for your patients. Be determined not to allow anything to disrupt your assignment to release peace into the atmosphere. Sometimes this means putting up boundaries and saying no. This means walking in boldness, authority, and speaking to the contrary winds as Jesus did in Mark 4:39 .  When you accept this truth that Christ is your peace, you will look no further.

Peace is the atmosphere that is needed to manifest healing, change, and breakthrough.  When you create an atmosphere of peace, you create an atmosphere for healing. Healing that transforms the body, soul, and spirit. Your patients and colleagues will notice and respond to the peace.

Today, I invite you to become a Grace-Filled Nurse. One that is learning the art of walking in grace, compassion, and peace.  Friend, I compel you today to take your place.  Let revival take place in the Healthcare industry, and let it start with you.  Grace-Filled Nursing points us back to Christ. It acknowledges our need for a savior and our longing to see our land healed. If you are reading this devotional today, and you do not have a personal relationship with Christ I would like to invite you to make that commitment today.

Simply repeat this prayer out loud: Dear Lord Jesus, today I want to thank you for your abundant grace and mercy. I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I receive your grace, compassion, and peace today that can heal and transform my life. Today, I choose to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus Name, Amen

Congratulations, you are now a Grace-Filled Nurse!
