DAY FOUR: Some Things Are About Your Endurance  

There are some things you’ll go through that are more about your endurance than your achievement. Like David, my wife Paula and I often inquired of the Lord. Through those times, we found the drive to keep praying and carrying on our ministry to others.

Whatever your struggle may be today, see it for what it is. It’s the hellacious middle between where you’ve been and where you’re destined to be. Your season is about to change, and the struggles you have today only verify it. Three words describe the tremendous victory that David experienced: “David recovered all.”

Those three words bring us immediately to the bottom line and end result of God’s intervening favor. Your recovery is not totally defined by the regathering of things. Recovery is as much about the restoration of emotional and spiritual wholeness as it is the accumulation of possessions.

You may be facing a long difficult period of waiting. But the Amos 9:13 paradigm of accelerated favor is ushering in recovery and God-ordained restoration of treasures that invading spiritual terrorists took from you. Your peace and joy are on the way back. What the evil one designed for your harm and ultimate destruction will be repealed by the intervening power of your heavenly Father. You, too, shall recover all!
