Why would God want animal sacrifices?
He didn't! Animal sacrifices [burnt offerings] were a sober reminder of the sinful state of humanity and that Yahweh God takes sin seriously.
1. Be fruitful and increase in number
2. Humanity is now allowed to have animal meat for food
3. Lifeblood is important

We are meant to be His imagers
Covenant (listed 7 times)
- It's a promise! And Yahweh God always keeps His promises!

1. If we put our faith and trust in Jesus, we are then adopted back into the family of God (Ephesians 1:5)

Jesus is NOT our magic genie that makes everything okay in our lives if we just have enough faith!
