1. God is very present as our help in our troubles. (v. 1)

2. Because God is with us, we have nothing to fear and shall not be moved. (vv. 2-7)

When your fortress is God nothing can move you because nothing can move God.

3. It is only by God’s working that all conflict will come to an end. (vv. 8-9)

Isaiah 2:1-5 ESV

4. We are to cease striving, be still, and know that He is God. (v. 10)

Exodus 14:4 ESV

5. The Lord our God, our fortress, will be exalted in all the earth. (v. 11)
