Women's Fall Study - Slaying The Giants In Your Life
Who Are These Giants? They cast their long shadow over everything we aspire to do, every new land we seek to inhabit, every dream we hope to pursue. Today we’d call them bullies, but they’re the same old giants, and they have us intimidated in the same old way.
Fear. Discouragement. Loneliness. Worry. Guilt. Temptation. Anger. Resentment. Doubt. Procrastination. Failure. Jealousy.
This 13 week study, will start on Tuesday, September 10 at 9:30am and Wednesday, September 11 at 6:30pm. (Childcare is only available on Wednesday evenings.) The cost of the study guide is $11. You can register online at HitTheRiver.comor at a kiosk. If you would like to know more about the study contact Edna Woodrick (edna.woodrick@gmail.com) or Margaret Layman (Margaret.s.layman@gmail.com).
Sunday Morning Study - Breathing Room
In our attempt to get the most out of life, it’s easy to lose control of our lives. For most of us, breathing room feels more like a luxury than a necessity. In this series, Andy Stanley shows us how to create a breathing room in our schedules, our finances, and our relationships. This new study begins September 15 during our 9:45am service. It will be lead by Jim Gayer and will meet downstairs in the community room.
Screens And Teens
Screen time is rapidly replacing family time, and for teens especially, it is hardwiring the way they connect with their world. In Screens and Teens, Dr. Kathy helps you make sense of all this and empowers you to respond.
Dr. Kathy’s research, experience, and relatability all come together for an inspiring book, sure to help you be closer with your kids. Join us for this 10-week study starting September 15 on Sunday mornings at 9:45am downstairs. We believe it is so important for you to find a healthy balance with your kids. Cultivating Prayer: Individually
“Rather than set aside daily time for prayer, I pray constantly and spontaneously about everything I encounter on a daily basis. When some-one shares something with me, I’ll often simply say, ‘let’s pray about this right now.’” - Thomas Kinkade
