Welcome to Week 1 of a series we are diving into called SHIFT.
There are many Paradigms in our lives that as time goes on have to shift. As we dive over the next 5 weeks into this, we are going to discuss the paradigm shift with the Gospel, Church, Discipleship, Family, and lastly Stewardship.
I see an interesting trend right now though… most want to fit God’s word into their lives rather than fit our lives into God’s word.
Paradigm is defined as a typical example or pattern of something; a model.

--He accepted you as you are!
--THIS IS EASY! Bring it on Devil!!
Then you begin to learn some more and realize that something you re doing doesn’t line up with the word.
--Confusion
--Can’t feel Him as much
--You pray but don’t see the response as quickly
--You ask for things and they don’t show up as you thought.
--This isn’t so easy… leave me alone Devil
You are embracing the truth and learning right from wrong.
--Resolve > Confusion
--Don’t need to feel him… you know he is there
--Pray knowing His word is true.
--You don’t ask for your will as much as his will
--This is tough, but in my weakness, your strength is perfect!
