I don't know what to do!
We have all been there, in a moment or even a season where we have simply no known what to do. Overwhelmed, anxious, no answers, caught off guard, or a problem that is simply to big to handle.

King Jehoshaphat and Judah found themselves in a situation just like this.
We have a big problem... that God left there
Jehoshaphat and Judah had a big problem right on their doorstep. They began to fast and pray. Jehoshaphat's prayer pointed out to God that this big problem was one that God had left there. He hadn't let his people remove the surrounding nations and now they were coming to destroy them.

When God leaves a problem in our life, he does it for a purpose.
Jehoshaphat and Judah didn't know what to do. They were alarmed and frightened. The could have focussed their attention on any number of things but they chose to fix their eyes on the Lord.

Where do you fix your eyes when you don't know what to do?
The battle belongs to the Lord
God responded to his people through the prophet. He assured them that they wouldn't have to fight this battle, this one belonged to God. But they still had to march out to face the enemy. God is fighting our battles for us, but often he calls us to march out and face the enemy.
This is how we fight our battles
Instead of leading out to battle with the fiercest warriors up front, Judah lead out with their wildest worshippers. And as they began to praise the breakthrough came.

What would it look like to fight your battles with worship?
The enemy became the delivery vehicle for God's abundance
When they arrived at the battle field the enemy had already been defeated. All that was left to do was collect the plunder. The enemy that was sent to destroy them was the very vehicle that God used to deliver abundance to Judah.

It just might be that God is using the thing that feels like it is going to destroy you to deliver abundance into your life.
I don’t know what to do! But my eyes are upon the Lord!
As our life groups gather this week, we have attached our reference verse and some questions to prompt a deeper discussion and search into this week's topic.

If you are not currently part of a life group, and would like to join a small group of like minded people in fellowship and connection during the week, please contact Nick on 0417472474 to register your interest.
Discusion Questions
1. Have you ever had a time in your life that you simply have not known what to do? Where do you fix your attention in moments like this?
2. What does it look like to follow Jehoshaphat's example and fix our eyes on God when the battles we face are too big?
3. If God was going to fight this battle for Judah, why do you think he didn't tell them to just stay home?
4. Why do you think that Judah put worshippers at the front of their battle lines? How can we do the same thing in our lives?
5. The enemy that was sent to destroy Judah ended up being God's vehicle to deliver abundance. Has there ever been a time in your life that God has done something similar? Share the testimony with the group.

Take some time to pray for one another as you feel lead.
