Week 1 of 4 on the Book of Revelation

For a few weeks, I want to look at a chapter of Revelation.
1) Understanding the past.
2) Correctly interpreting the present.
3) Having wisdom for the future.
What does the scroll contain?
1) It is the title deed to the earth… It is a statement of ultimate ownership.

What does the scroll contain?
1) It is the title deed to the earth… It is a statement of ultimate ownership.
2) It is the Will of God concerning this planet.
-It is what He originally intended
-What He is doing to release this earth from the curse which had fallen on it.
Because we misunderstand the past, we misinterpret the present and the future.
- God created the earth for man to fulfill a specific plan.
-Then Man was made

Dominion = Success
God never intended anyone having success without them understanding that they are made in the image of God to have a relationship with him.
You can see so many people who have immense dominion(success) but have immense dis-rest.
-How can you have dominion and turmoil at the same time, everything and nothing, biggest and the least, everything that everyone wants but nothing on the inside that satisfies?
-That is because dominion is only to be given in terms with your relationship with the father God.
IF you have dominion without God, you will have success without peace.
-You are not designed to have success and everything that goes with it aside from the understanding that you are made in his image and are designed for relationship with him.
So Adam was created:
1) In the image of God
2) To have a relationship with God

Adam was designed with 3 intents:
1) Be fruitful
2) Multiply
3) Have dominion
Here is what we know…
Adam was:
1) Endowed with knowledge and understanding
-Naturally (Gen 2:20 - See Below)
---Perfect, no mental limitations, could name all the animals
-Spiritually (Gen 3:8-10 - See Below)
2) Positioned to enjoy maximum potential (Gen 2:8 - See Below)
3) Appointed with authority
4) Accountable to God-given boundaries (Gen 2:16-17 - See Below)

Adam was responsible for the world as we know it.
-It was his choice
---By nature we are children of wrath (Eph 2:3)
---He (Adam) was not deceived (1 Tim 2:14)
-The result was calamity (Rom 8:20)
-He relinquished control
---He voluntarily gave away what God gave to him (Psalm 115:16)
