Thy Kingdom Come: God’s Way Always Wins

Thy Kingdom Come: God’s Way Always Wins

Welcome to Grace Chapel! Most people seek to find what is right or what feels right to them, but God’s way is better than just what is right — it is biblical, godly and often difficult or mysterious. In this message, we look at the last two chapters in Daniel and study what it means to trust God for our future even when we face danger.

When facing fear, use the strength God gives you to strengthen others. (11:1)

2 Corinthians 1:4

God directs the details of the world for His glory and my ultimate good. (11:2-28)
My strength comes from knowing that God’s way always wins. (11:29-45)
Choose to use the trials you face in this life to cultivate a longing for the life to come. (12:1-4)
Two types of good fear:
1. The fear of God
2. Reasonable fears of danger or difficulty
Your past does not predict your future, God does. (12:5-13)
This week I will…

• Pray for several minutes a day simply expressing, “Jesus, I trust you because _____.”
• Ask someone else to help me decipher godly options I should pursue in the future to get out of my current “Stuck” situation
• Read 2 Corinthians 2 and identify why I have reason to not be afraid.
• Find three people in my life that are discouraged and do something to encourage them and pray for them.
