Series Focus: If you only have HALF the truth, then you don’t have
the WHOLE picture.
#MyTruth: A personalized truth designed to meet someone’s preferences.
Think about it: Something cannot be TRUE for you and NOT TRUE for everyone else.
Question: “What is Truth?”
Truth is not based on:
Instinct: “It seems true.”
Feelings: “It feels right.”
Wish Fulfillment: “I want it to be true.”
Custom: “I was told it’s this way.”
Popularity: “Everyone believes it so…”
Pragmatism: “It just works for me.”

Answer #1: Truth is what corresponds to REALITY.
Post-Truth: “Is relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” - Oxford Dictionaries

Answer #2: Truth is ABSOLUTE but it’s not ABSTRACT.
Answer #3 Truth should be taken PERSONALLY because Truth is a PERSON.
The Uniqueness of Jesus: Any mere man can TELL the truth, but no mere man can BE the truth.
Next Step: How to tell if you love Truth.
Do I regularly listen to the opinions of others, even when I disagree?
Do I welcome feedback in my life?
Do I exaggerate numbers, stories, or statements to impress people?
Do I have meaningful friendships with people who believe differently?
Am I interested in being right, or learning what’s right?
