1. Men's Leadership Training is THIS Wednesday, May 29th. This month the men will studying 2 Timothy, Ch.3, and discussing what it means to be "equipped for every good work." As always, they will be meeting at Pastor Rod's house @ 7pm in Glendale Heights.
2. Calling all musicians or anyone with any experience playing an instrument or singing! Heartland is forming a Worship Team! Please see sign-up on coffee table if you’re interested in trying out for Heartland’s very first Worship Team. Questions? Please see Jay Igelman for more details.
2. Do you have a child (over 3 yrs old) that you like to have dedicated to the Lord? If so, Heartland’sChild Dedication Ceremony is scheduled at 12:15pm, Sunday, June 23rd, immediately following our church service. Please see Pastor Rod for more details.
3. Are you wanting to be baptized? It’s our favorite event here at Heartland! Please see Pastor Rod for more details and to sign up for our next baptism party :)
4. Heartland is taking over the Dunes! We are leaving the building and moving outdoors for s’mores and Church Under The Stars! SIGN-UP OR RSVP (SEE LINK BELOW) for Heartland‘s annual Indiana Dunes camping trip on Fri, June 28th - Sun, June 30th. Reserve a campsite for the weekend, come to the beach for the day, or just come for our Saturday night church service! (Cost is free unless you reserve a campsite.) Please sign RSVP for dinner and church Or reserve your campsite. Heartland‘s church service is scheduled on Saturday at 6pm. Heartland will provide dinner at 5pm... just bring a bag of chips to share! Cost is $35 per tent for the weekend. NOTE: THERE ARE ONLY 11 CAMPSITES WHICH ARE AVAILABLE ON FIRST COME BASIS. Questions? HEARTLAND VISION:
Heartland Bible Church is a discipleship-focused church that encourages each person to have an authentic relationship with God and with others. Our church is a return to a more intimate form of church. The vision for Heartland comes from the church described in the book of Titus, chapter 2, where mature followers of Christ mentored the younger generation of Christ followers.
