Have Mercy: My Sin: Covered or Concealed?
Happy Easter! Welcome to Grace Chapel! Psalm 32 gives us an initiation to stop concealing our sin and find joy in being covered by God’s mercy. We all need to honestly evaluate our heart and ask: Am I continually trying to “conceal” my sin, or do I see my sin as “covered” by the mercy of God?

The mercy of God allows my record of wrongs to be CLEARED. (vv. 1-2)
Concealing my sin will leave me weak and POWERLESS. (vv. 3-4)
Humans have been “groaning” in their concealed sin from God since the Garden of Eden.
When we stop CONCEALING our sin and confess it to God, we will be covered in mercy. (vv. 5-7)
When we are covered in mercy, we are COUNSELED by God. (vv. 8-9)
Our greatest JOY is being found in the mercy of God. (vv. 10-11)
This Week I Will:
• Study Genesis 3 and identify what specific ways Adam and Eve committed the sin of pride and self-sufficiency.
• Pray and ask God to convict me of where I am may be “concealing” my sin.
• Jesus said, “Apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5); evaluate where I am trying do things on my own without Jesus.
• Meditate and pray through Psalm 32.
