Have Mercy: Mercy Makes a Way

Have Mercy: Mercy Makes a Way

Happy Easter! Welcome to Grace Chapel! In this message, we will look at the way Jesus imparted hope and healing to 10 people who needed His mercy. We’ll find that the hope He offers us is more than superficial, but it calls for a whole-hearted reaction of faith.

Luke 17:11-14

It was never God’s design for us to live without HOPE. (vv. 11-12)
Sin has caused suffering and the need for MERCY. (vv. 13-14)
- 16 breaths a minute
- 960 breaths an hour
- 23,040 breaths a day
- 8,409,600 breaths a year

Luke 17:15-16

1. He praised God.
2. He threw himself at the feet of Jesus.
3. He thanked Jesus.

We will be left HOPELESS if we look for solutions outside of Jesus (vv. 15-16).

Luke 17:17-19

True faith that leads lasting change goes beyond believing God is good; true faith believes that only Jesus is the way to a good God.
A correct response to God’s mercy is being THANKFUL and FULL OF FAITH that Jesus Christ is God. (vv. 17-19)
God’s mercy leads us to change our thinking and change our behavior.
When we receive Christ’s mercy, we come to Him as Lord.

Matthew 11:28

This Week I Will:
