Sermon: All Can Experience the Mercy of God through Faith in Jesus Christ
Passage: Romans 11:25-36

2. Gentile believers should not be conceited about their salvation. (vv. 25-27)

A. Do not consider yourself superior; do not be arrogant.

B. The mystery.

C. All Israel will be saved.

D. Salvation is only through faith in Christ.

3. God’s mercy is available for all, for all have been disobedient. (vv. 28-32)

A. Conflicting descriptions of the Jews: Enemies of God, loved by God.

B. There is hope for salvation for the Jews.

C. Jews and Gentiles alike have been disobedient, but all have access to salvation.

4. To God be the glory forever! (vv. 33-36)

A. God’s knowledge and wisdom are unsearchable.

B. We can never fully comprehend the mind of God.

C. Everything comes from God, is sustained by God, and is for God.

D. He deserves the glory forever.

5. Implications

A. How does God view His chosen people today?

B. Do the Jews have a different path to salvation?

C. How should we view the Jewish people in the context of salvation?

D. How should we treat the Jewish people today?

E. Maintain humility.

F. Share the gospel with all people and pray that they would respond with saving faith.

Easter Celebration - March 29-31

We will have a Good Friday service from 5:00-7:00pm on Friday, March 29. This will be an "open house" time of worship and prayer. Come anytime and stay as long as you want.

On Easter Sunday, March 31, we will have a sunrise service (weather permitting) at 7:00am in the lower parking lot behind the church. We will have our regular worship service at 10:00am in the sanctuary with overflow seating available in the coffee shop. Between the services, we will serve a pancake breakfast.

As we celebrate Resurrection Sunday, we will remember loved ones that we have lost with Easter lilies and a memorial slide show. If you would like to bring an Easter lily in memory of your loved one, we will use it to adorn the stage. If you would like a photo of your loved one to appear in a memorial slide show before the service, please email the photo to Jeff Ward (jeff.ward@hillsidecommunity.org).

Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Team hosts a monthly prayer night at 7:00pm on the third Monday of the month (next: April 15). The Prayer Team is also available before and after the service if you need prayer.

Women's Ministry
The Saturday morning Women's Bible study meets every other Saturday at 9:00am (next: April 6). Please contact Andrea Flack or Jane Banzhaf for more information.

Men's Ministry
The Saturday morning Men's Bible Study meets every Saturday at 10:00am. Please contact David Eicher for more information. The Thursday morning Men's Bible Study meets every other Thursday at 6:00am (next: April 4). Please contact Elliot Makuh for more information.

Young Adults
The Young Adults group meets on Sunday mornings at 8:45am. For more information, contact Abby Bowen or Matt Mitchell.

Youth Group
Youth Group meets in the back of the coffee shop during service except on the 1st Sunday of the month to participate in communion. Youth Group also meets on Sunday evenings at the church from 4:00-5:30pm. Contact Val Semich for more information.

MOPS
The Golden MOPS group meets from 9:00-11:00am on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at First Baptist Church in Golden. For more information, email mopsgolden@gmail.com.
