Family Promise - January 8
Hillside will be providing a meal to four families who are experiencing homelessness and are being sheltered through the Family Promise organization on Monday, January 8th. If you would be able to provide a main dish, side, or dessert, please contact Jennifer Wilson. Food can be dropped off at church on Sunday, at Jennifer's on Monday, or at the shelter location Monday. Thank you for considering this opportunity!

A new men's Bible study is starting on Thursday, January 11th. We'll be meeting at 6:30am at Hillside and studying a book called "The Man Maker," which digs into God's desire for men and manhood. The book focuses on developing godly character and carrying that into the next generation as we father our children. Books will be provided. Please contact Elliot Makuh to get more info. Hope to see you there!

There will be a New Members Class right after the service on Sunday, January 14. If you are considering joining Hillside, this is an important part of the process. Men's Gathering - January 18
Men, join us for an evening of fellowship at Barrels and Bottles at Camp George West on Thursday, January 18th at 6:00pm. These gatherings are a great opportunity for men to connect, grow in our friendships, and encourage each other in our walks with the Lord. Looking forward to catching up!

Are you hesitant to talk about your faith because of the tough questions people might ask? Are there questions that you wrestle with yourself? If so, join us this spring as we explore some of the more prominent and challenging questions about Christianity. The class will be on Monday evenings from 7:00-8:30 beginning on January 22. Our annual business meeting will be held after the service on Sunday, January 28. Please plan to join us as we discuss the 2024 budget and look ahead to missions and ministry opportunities in the coming year. Lunch will be provided.

Youth Group - On Sunday mornings, Youth Group meets in the back of the coffee shop during service, except on the first Sunday of the month so youth may participate in communion. On Sunday evenings, Youth Group meets from 4:00-5:30pm in the Hillside coffee shop. Contact Val Semich for questions.
Young Adults - The Young Adults group will resume meeting on Sunday morning, January 14 at 8:45am. There will also be a YA Coffee Night on January 18 (6:00) and a YA Game Night on January 19 (6:30). For more information, contact Matt Mitchell.
Women's Ministry - The bi-weekly Hillside Women of Hope Bible study will meet on Saturday, January 6th at 9:00am in the Hillside Coffee Shop. We’ll resume our study in the book of Luke. Please contact Andrea Flack or Jane Banzhaf for more information.
Men's Ministry - The weekly Saturday morning men's Bible study will resume meeting on January 13 at 10:00am. Please contact David Eicher for details. A new men's Bible study will begin meeting on Thursday, January 11 at 6:30am. See above for more information.
MOPS - The Golden MOPS group meets from 9:00-11:00am on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at First Baptist Church in Golden. For more information, email mopsgolden@gmail.com.
Prayer Ministry - The next monthly prayer time will be Monday evening, January 15 at 7:00pm. In the meantime, you can email the prayer team to submit prayer requests. You can also receive prayer in person from 9:30-10:00am Sunday mornings in the cry room adjacent to the church foyer. If you’d like to receive prayer in person, please sign up here.
Meals Ministry - The Meals Ministry is a practical way to meet the needs of others in the congregation who are welcoming a new baby or experiencing challenging circumstances. If you would like more information about providing meals, or if you yourself are in need of meals, please contact Jenny Ward.
