Preparation Question: As we prepare our hearts for Thanksgiving, what are some ways you can actively sow others your gratitude to Jesus?
Three imperatives for making our gratitude more than just words this Thanksgiving:
1. Believers, make the most of your opportunities to act according to the authority and power Jesus provides.

2. Believers, make the most of your opportunities to share the Gospel with others using words the Holy Spirit will give you.
3. Unbelievers, make the most of your present opportunity to trust Jesus for forgiveness and salvation while you still can.
Response Questions
1. Is saying, "Thank you," enough by itself to show gratitude? Why or why not?
2. How is the fact that Jesus has been given all authority (Matthew 28:18) an encouragement to us for doing Gospel ministry?
3. Why are spoken words necessary in Gospel ministry?
4. Do actions truly speak louder than words, and, if so, what have your actions said about your level of gratitude to God?
5. Have you accepted Jesus as your savior, or are you squandering your opportunity?
