Introduction

Romans 8:12-17; John 14:16-17

1. You must be living more in your true identity. Deuteronomy 30:15-20

A. We are sons and daughters of the living God. 2 Corinthians 6:16-18

B. Moses’ example. Hebrews 11:24

C. Romans 12:1-2

2. You should be accessing a more intimate relationship with your Father God.

A. A very personal name.

B. Moses’ example. Hebrews 11:25

C. Good gifts are worth waiting for from our Father in heaven. James 1:13-17

D. He cares for you and me. 1 Peter 5:6-7

3. You will trust more in His infinite resources because of your relationship to Jesus.

A. Every spiritual blessing. Ephesians 1:3-6

B. Our boost should be in knowing God. Jeremiah 9:23-24

C. His provision to make a difference. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

D. Again, the example of Moses. Hebrews 11:26

Application

1. Approach your heavenly Father God, Papa, and come to Him as His child.

2. Ask Him to give you more of His Holy Spirit in your life. Luke 11:13

3. Appreciate His kindness in your life.

Family Promise - October 30

Through Family Promise, Hillside will be dropping off a dinner October 30th for families experiencing homelessness. If you would like to provide a portion of the meal (salad or veggie, bread, dessert, drinks) please contact Jennifer Wilson at jjwilson1to6@msn.com.

Men's Bible Study - November 4

The Men's Bible study meets at the church every Saturday at 10:00am. Please contact David Eicher for details.

Potluck - November 5

There will be a potluck after the service on Sunday, November 5.

If your last name begins with A-J, bring a main dish.
If your last name begins with K-Z, bring a side dish or salad.

Beverages and dessert will be provided.

Women's Bible Study - November 11

The Women's Bible Study meets every other Saturday at 9:00am. The next meeting will be on November 11.

Operation Christmas Child - November 13-20

The Operation Christmas Child box collection is just around the corner. Be sure to grab a box or two in the lobby and fill 'em up!

Hillside will be the drop-off location for Golden and the surrounding area. The collection week is November 13-20. Collection times are as follows:

Women's Ministry Operation Christmas Child Packing Party - November 14
