Types of Prayer
Supplication - asking specifically for what you desire, earnestly. Asking God for things we want, prayers for the things we need.
Confession - openacknowledgment and recognition of our sin. Prayers of confession allow us to admit and ask for forgiveness of our sins.
Intercession - praying for and intervening on behalf of another person. In intercessory prayer you allow the needs of others to take preference over your personal needs.
