Jesus was thrust into the headquarters of Pilate by the Jews to have him killed. The unfolded scene revealed the Jewish leader’s and Roman governor’s hearts toward the truth. The text begs the question of our own concern for the truth, and our concern for the truth reveals, as it did with those in the story, what we do with Jesus. --- This Easter sermon series looks at Jesus' final words to his disciples, his final prayers, his final witness to the truth, and the final word of the resurrection over death, hell, and the grave. These final words exhort believers to make disciples, seek unity in Christian community, and to live as people of truth, forgiveness, joy, and life.
