His Kingdom Come
Throughout History, there have been times where the disconnect between the TEACHINGS and EXAMPLE of Jesus Christ and the ACTIONS AND ATTITUDES of those who claim to be his followers has been exposed.
If we truly know Jesus and follow Him, we will be made like Him and our IDENTITY as a Christian will be evidenced by our TESTIMONY.
Mark’s Gospel was written to tell us that God came to earth to bring an all out ASSAULT ON EVIL and to free you and I from any BONDAGE that would keep us from knowing our God, through His Son – Jesus Christ.
If you want to know who God is, look at Jesus.
If you want to know what it means to be human, look at Jesus.
If you want to know what love is, look at Jesus.
If you want to know what grief is, look at Jesus.
And go on looking until you’re not just a spectator, but your actually part of the drama which has him as the central character.

The Kingdom of God:
God coming into the world to reveal and display His power, glory and authority over all powers, including the power and control of Satan in this sinful world.
The Kingdom of God is both the present and future.
• It is a now and a later.
• It is both a position and a place.
• A king’s rule and reign determine his kingdom.
Jesus brought a:
· Kingdom of Love, not subjugation
· Grace, not law
· Humility, not pride
· For all mankind, not only to the Jews
· To be received voluntarily, not by force

SEVEN MARKS OF GOD’S REIGN
1. Deliverance / Salvation I
2. Justice – everyone has enough (opposite of consumerism)
3. Peace and Harmony – not hatred / division / deception
4. Healing – not living in fear of sickness and disease
5. Restoration of families and community.
6. Joy – people filled with LIFE!!!
7. The experience of God’s presence.
