Sermon Sunday 8th January: Water Walkers, Waiting

As Peter is moments away from drowning he cries out for help. We don’t know if Peter had just started to slowly sink or if his head was about to plunge under the water. What we do know is that when Peter acknowledges his helplessness and cry’s out, immediately Jesus moves towards him. Jesus reaches out his hand and pulls him up. Placing his feet back on solid water and walks him through the storm back to the boat. Where they get on the boat together and Jesus calms the storm.
