Alexandria Covenant Church
I'll Be There For You
Welcome to a new year that is full of new beginnings and possibilities. We live in a world where we are always connected to people, whether it's right in front of us or globally, but may not notice their needs. In asking the question, ‘Who is my neighbor?’ we should be moved to help out our brothers and sisters, going beyond the call to further His Kingdom in the process.

Three reasons how we can know and love our neighbor.
1. Compassion is a priority.
2. Be colorblind.
3. Go beyond the call.
Challenge: Understanding who our neighbor is is a necessity to live a Christian life. We can do this by understanding who God is and how he showed love to all through the acts of Jesus. Jesus was the ultimate neighbor to all: Jews, Gentiles, tax collectors, fishermen, women, and children. We should know our neighbor and do what Jesus stated: show mercy.
