The Aaron's Rod

During the plagues of Egypt, Moses and Aaron were carried around on a rod, a symbol of the Holy Spirit. This rod also signifies the authority of God. It is no wonder why it is called the Rod of Aaron.
During the Plagues of Egypt During the plagues of Egypt, Aaron's Rod was endowed with remarkable powers. The story is told in Exodus.
The first of the plagues was the east wind that drove swarms of locusts into the sea. The second was the flies that were sent throughout the Egyptian land. The third plague was the gnats. They covered the face and the body of both man and beast. They were feared by the Egyptians. They were also thought to be lice. The fourth plague was the boils. The fifth was the murrain. The sixth was a fearful hailstorm.
The next plague was the frogs. They covered the entire land of Egypt. They destroyed all the houses and gardens. There were no animals to protect them. People were forced to seek shelter inside. Those who didn't are killed on the spot.
The last four plagues were probably between the beginning of March and the first day of April. They were supposed to be repeated every year. The Hebrews suffered for four hundred years. The Hebrews were forced to live in slavery in Egypt. They were unable to worship their Egyptian gods in their own land.
The Egyptians were still unwilling to let the Israelites leave. They claimed that the Hebrews would cause more trouble. But Moses and Aaron warned them. The LORD used this series of plagues to give Pharaoh a chance to change his mind. But he refused.
In the Tabernacle During the plagues of Egypt, Aaron's rod was endowed with miraculous power. He was also given a staff which produced buds and blossoms. These were then placed in the Tabernacle.
This isn't the only time that the Rod of Aaron was mentioned. The book of Hebrews mentions it in a couple of places. For instance, it is mentioned in Numbers 17:11, but in a more technical way. It is also mentioned in the book of Clement. However, the account given by the latter is written in a haggadic midrashic style.
This rod was to be the most important piece of the entire Tabernacle. It was the first to be used in the Tabernacle and was to be the symbol of Aaron's authority. It was also the relic of the priesthood. It was the sign of the covenant between the Lord and the Israelites.
The rod was a practical example of the power of the Ineffable Name of God. It was also a sign of the Lord's choice of Aaron as a high priest. The rod's miracles should have made Aaron humbler. But instead, he risked his purity while standing between the living and the dead.
The rod of Aaron was a practical demonstration of a symbolic power that the Lord displayed when he was not in control. It was also a symbol of the miracles that the rod of Moses could perform.
In Crowley's hands During the time of the plagues of Egypt, the rod of Aaron was endowed with miraculous power. These rods were to be placed in the Tabernacle for God to use.
In the first letter to the Corinthians, Clement writes about the blossoming of the rod of Aaron. The account is written in haggadic-midrashic style.
The rod was created by God on the sixth day of Creation. It was a miracle only God could do. It produced blossoms, ripe almonds, and buds. The rod was given to Moses' brother, Aaron. It was also a testament to the exclusive priesthood of Levi.
When the children of Israel rebelled against their God, the rod of Aaron was a good example. When Pharaoh saw the rod, it turned into a snake. But when it was in the hands of Moses, it budded and blossomed in the Tabernacle.
The rod of Aaron was one of twelve rods that were to be placed in the tabernacle. Each was engraved with the names of the tribes. Some of the rods were to be placed in the holy of holies and others were to be placed in the tabernacle.
The rod of Aaron is a reminder that we need a Hand of God to fight against Darkness. The rod is an object that was touched by God and imbued with a fraction of his power.
