The Gospel Effect
The effect the Gospel has on people is that it changes people’s lives. As the Apostle Paul and his mission team enter Europe with a clear calling to spread the Gospel and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we will see the importance of living the Gospel in life in order to share the Gospel effectively through our words. We will also discover that the Good News of Jesus’s transforming power is for all types of people. --- God can do amazing things through ordinary people who are empowered by the Holy Spirit. In the book of Acts, the Holy Spirit was given to all believers and the church was born. The church is God's chosen instrument in the world for sharing the good news about Jesus Christ. The book of Acts is all about the unhindered movement of God throughout the world as the gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed through the church. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, the early church was an unstoppable movement that proclaimed the Kingdom of God and Jesus Christ as the only way to eternal life. Today, the church empowered by the Holy Spirit is called to continue God's redeeming work in the world by fulfilling God's mission of making Jesus known to the ends of the earth.

Challenge: As Christians, we share the Apostle Paul’s mandate to spread the good news of Jesus’ transforming power wherever we go. Sharing the Gospel with others can happen through word and deed. And some people may need to experience the Gospel through our lives before they will ever be willing to hear that the Gospel is actually Good News for their life too. Live Holy Spirit filled lives and be ready to show and tell the Gospel to anyone, anytime, anywhere.
