Judging in the New Testament...
James 2:13 – “Judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.”
John 7:24 – “Stop judging by mere appearances but instead judge correctly.”
Romans 2:1,4 – “You have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things… Do you show contempt for the riches of [God’s] kindness, forbearance and patience, not realize that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?”
Matthew 18:15 – “If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.”
